At the TAMU-CC
Dugan Wellness Center, must provide signed registration packet, emergency information form, payment, and copy of medical insurance. |

Helps students feel comfortable in the water and enjoy the water safely.

Gives students success with fundamental skills. Learn to float without support and begin locomotion skills.

Builds on the skills in Level II by providing additional guided practice. Begin learning about headfirst entries.

Develops confidence in the strokes learned and to improve other aquatic skills. |

Level VI: This class is not offered as a part of our regular series |

It is available through private lessons. Objectives in this are are to refine strokes so students swim them with more ease, efficiency, power, and smoothness over greater distances. |
||
Parent/Child Aquatics: This course helps young children (6 months up to 5 |
||
years) become comfortable in and around the water so they are ready to learn to swim. The course gives parents information and techniques to help orient their children to the water and to supervise water activities in a safe manner. Parent/ Guardian are required to be in the water with child. |

Private Swim Lessons: Private lessons may be scheduled on an individual basis |
||
with certified instructors through Recreational Sports. Lesson times are limited by instructor and pool availability. The fee structure is based on the number of private 1/2 hour (30 min.) sessions the participant schedules with the instructor. |
