Services Available to Students at a Distance

Aquatics

Students at a distance are referred to their local city, community recreation, or American Red Cross providers for aquatic programming. An available resource with publicly-accessible swimming pools is Swimmers Guide. Aquatics programming is available to students at a distance if they come to campus. Use fees may apply.

Group Fitness

We are currently doing Group Fitness classes virtually via WebEx. Please visit this link for our Fall 2020 schedule as well as how to sign-up for virtual classes.  

Personal Training

Personal training is partially available in the form of videos with exercises and exercise tips which are posted on our Instagram. No additional fees apply for use of this resource. If you have any questions regarding personal training, please contact Ashlea Rosenbaum at ashlea.rosenbaum@tamucc.edu

Wellness Resources

Wellness Resources are available to students at a distance and are posted in the Fitness & Wellness section of the website. No additional fees apply for use of this resource.

We currently have applications for Islander Health Initiative open (formerly known as Employee & Student Wellness). Applications are due September 4th. For more information, please click here
