Wellness Seminars

 

The Department of Rec Sports provides Wellness Seminars for the TAMUCC community. There are a variety of presentations that our Fitness/Wellness staff can share with you. These presentations are portable, so we can come to you. Additionally, these sessions can be scheduled at the Dugan Wellness Center with our Fitness/Wellness Coordinator and personal training staff. All of the seminars will be held in the DWC Conference Room unless specified! It is free to all Student, Faculty and Staff

Example seminar sessions include, but are not limited to: Sleep, Diabetes, Importance of Stretching, Nutrition and Cross Training.

Our scheduled seminars will be:

Strength Training & Recovery  – January 15th, 12 to 1pm

Healthy Living & Weight Loss – February 5th, 12 to 1pm

Mind & Body Wellness– March 5th, 11:30am to 12:30pm

TBD – April 23rd, 12 to 1pm
